China Dolls

If you lived in the 1800s and were able to afford a doll, then there was a good chance you had a china doll. What distinguishes a china doll from the rest are the glazed porcelain head, hair, feet and hands, while the rest of the body was made from a softer material, such as leather or cloth. These dolls were predominately made in Germany and were mostly popular during the 1840s-1890s.
